CARE MANAGER
A Care Manager takes overall responsibility for how each office is run, particularly maintaining our high standards of quality. Usually holding an NVQ4 or equivalent, the Care Manager ensures that the records of service users and employees are up to date.
By working with the Training Manager, the Care Manager ensures the training needs of all staff are met - including requirements and changes in the latest legislation.
The Care Manager may report directly to the franchisee or other senior member of staff, depending on the size or structure of the office.
Growing and running an efficient business are also important aspects of the Care Manager role, and may also be responsible for representing and promoting Carewatch to purchasers of bulk packages of care, for example local authorities.
Depending on each office, there may be some responsibility with competing for tenders for local authorities etc.
